Love the book club idea you guys are doing. As for the book, I agree with your initial reaction...it sounds kinda freaky. But then again, some of the best books sound kinda freaky when you first start reading them or read the back cover. Happy reading!

Megan @ Megz Madd Readz

Oh, and if you're looking for a suggestion (I don't know if you're into urban fantasy or not), the City of Bones by Cassandra Clare is amazing! It's book #1 in the Mortal Instruments series and I absolutely loved it. You can run over to my blog (linky above) and read the review if you want. But I highly recommend it :) Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16476535219561553948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222468783839234159.post-30134074693251815622012-08-15T09:00:42.291-04:002012-08-15T09:00:42.291-04:00I hear that Reese Witherspoon is going to be AmyI hear that Reese Witherspoon is going to be AmyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222468783839234159.post-25206875700496640412012-07-30T09:11:27.320-04:002012-07-30T09:11:27.320-04:00This has been getting raves----it is a page turner...This has been getting raves----it is a page turner
~MaggieBook Banterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07931657189621483122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222468783839234159.post-36094823544129401342012-07-30T09:00:48.244-04:002012-07-30T09:00:48.244-04:00What a great comment---you should be blogging

It opens your eyes into the everday lives of people from many different walks of life. It also opens your eyes to the controversy within the Catholic Church about priests and the accusations that have come out. It shows how even in something as grave as ruining peoples lives, some people will stoop as low as possible for money. In the same realm, others will do anything to protect the innocent. This is not the whole just of the book but it does play a big part in it. I think it is a good read and I would read other books by this author in the anticipation that they would be as good as FAITH!!Luxembourghttp://born2beperfect.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222468783839234159.post-46803722345263699872011-12-31T10:55:23.026-05:002011-12-31T10:55:23.026-05:00I also liked A Kind of Intimacy. The film is set in 1964 Bronx New York in a working class neighborhood, as like in your book "Faith", the priest keeps his silence for his own personal reasons. The two nuns are concerned for the boys in his (and their) care but are also concerned about their own faith and doubts. I found it to be a suspenseful, tasteful look at an issue that has been around quite a bit longer than we would all like to believe. I would say, if you enjoyed "Faith", try "Doubt".Kelly Connellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222468783839234159.post-75193631680366233492011-06-10T09:04:26.633-04:002011-06-10T09:04:26.633-04:00More great suggestions I must read!!!!More great suggestions I must read!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222468783839234159.post-60573096976986780332011-05-18T16:31:09.555-04:002011-05-18T16:31:09.555-04:00Looking forward to starting this one, since I love...Looking forward to starting this one, since I loved your last reco!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222468783839234159.post-41564589098114738382011-05-18T16:26:54.022-04:002011-05-18T16:26:54.022-04:00Loved this book.
